Velvet Revolution by Pivotal – Four time winner Velvet Revolution is just a couple of weeks away from some entries. Options Marco has in mind are 22nd August at Kempton Park (the race he won last year) and 25th August at Chelmsford. Owner hotline press 11 for Velvet Revolution by Pivotal.
Dragons Voice by Poet’s Voice – Following the sad retirement of Philip Hide, Dragons Voice has moved trainers to upcoming Group 2 winning trainer David Menuisier, based in Pulborough. The horse has settled into his new yard well and will be prepared for an Autumn campaign where the soft conditions will hopefully be plentiful. Owners will enjoy their first stable visit with David this Saturday. Hotline press 12 for Dragons Voice.
Spring Praise by Oasis Dream – Spring Praise has settled into Gary Moore yard’s well and has been giving some pleasing pieces of work on the gallops at home. The horse heads to Chelmsford on 4th August to make his debut for his new yard. Jamie Moore has been regularly riding the horse at home and feels hurdling could be on the horizon for him! Owner hotline dial 13 for Spring Praise.
Good Luck Charm by Doyen – It was great to see Good Luck Charm run a respectable race at Kempton Park on 11th July as he travelled well, tried hard and looked capable of winning again this season. Gary feels he is off a winnable mark on both the turf and AW now, and would like to see him return to the turf next time (providing the ground eases.) Options include Kempton Park on 8th August, Brighton on 10th August (in the race he won last year) and Salisbury on 15th August. Owner hotline press 14 for Good Luck Charm.
Onehelluvatouch by Hellvelyn – Onehelluvatouch looked to be travelling well for the first part of her race at Uttoxeter last Friday but a mistake saw her throw in the towel and with it clear she is no longer enjoying her racing, her Owners have decided it is now time to retire her from racing. We are sure this lovely 5yo will make a great riding horse and we are in the process of finding her a life-long home. Hotline dial 15 for Onehelluvatouch.
Master Poet by Poet's Voice – After finishing back in the winners circle last time out we had high hopes for Master Poet at Chelmsford last week. Despite travelling powerfully for the first part of his race, he found very little when under pressure and a set of headgear will be used next time. It may well be he wants considerably further then 7f. Hotline dial 16 for Master Poet
Raven's Lady by Raven’s Pass – Raven’s Lady oozed class when toughing it out to win the Group 3 William Hill Summer Stakes at York on 13th July! She was given a fabulous ride by Gerald Mosse and tried extremely hard to ensure her nose was first past the line, giving Heart of the South our first Group winner! Congratulations to all connections whom we enjoyed celebrating with at a party last week! Her next target looks likely to be a Group 2 in Baden Baden on 26th August – lots to look forward to! Owner hotline dial 17 for Raven’s Lady.
Alternate Route by New Approach – Alternate Route is currently enjoying some time out in the paddock following a setback. He will recommence light ridden work next Spring and hopefully his owners’ patience will be rewarded next NH season. Owner hotline dial 18 for Alternate Route.
Zante by Zanzibari –Zante has recommenced ridden work ahead of his imminent return to full-training. We cannot wait to see him back racing this autumn where he remains well handicapped over hurdles. Hotline press 19 for Zante.
Zambeasy by Zamindar –Zambeasy returned to Sandown Park on 25th July and the 7yo looked to enjoy every single second of being allowed to bowl along in front. The jockey perhaps went too hard early on which meant Zambeasy had little left in the tank in the closing stages, but it was clear he still has a real zest for racing and providing the ground is a little softer he will head to Salisbury on 15th August next for what is likely to be his final race before retirement. Owner hotline press 20 for Zambeasy.
Sir Robert Cheval by Green Desert – After a respectable run in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, Sir Robert Cheval is being prepared to return to this track on 11th August for the Shergar Cup Dash. He finished 2nd in this race last year and Robert Cowell is hopeful of another decent performance. Owner hotline press 21 for Sir Robert Cheval.
Sisania by Mastercraftsman –Sisania is another NH horse currently enjoying a paddock break. She returns to full training this Autumn with Suzy and we hope to see her build on her encouraging 4th place last time.Hotline press 22 for Sisania.
Aiguillette by Epaulette – Aiguillette continues to please the team at Cisswood Stables as he progresses well with his fast work. He has a great mentality for a 2-year old colt and Gary is really looking forward to seeing him on the track, which looks to be just a couple of weeks away. Hotline dial 23 for Aiguillette.
Cilaos Glace by Voix Du Nord – Following a paddock break Cilaos Glace has now moved to Oliver Sherwood’s yard for full training. He has settled into his new surroundings well and we are keeping everything crossed that a change in his scenery will enable him to deliver on the track. Hotline press 24 for Cilaos Glace.
Un-named colt by Sea The Stars –This powerful colt is really starting to come together on the Newmarket gallops and certainly caught the eye when cantering with a companion last week. Marco is in no rush to push any young horse in this hot whether but hopefully some rain will fall this Autumn and we can see this son of Sea The Stars on the track. There is a lot to like about him, and we look forward to giving him a name during our naming morning on Saturday 18th August. Hotline press 25 for un-named colt by Sea The Stars
Waikiki Waves by Alexandros - Waikiki Waves is coming to the end of his holiday at grass and will soon be ready to return to Gary Moore’s yard for full training. He finished last season with a gutsy win and we are really looking forward to seeing what he can do this forthcoming NH season (especially as Gary feels he will jump a fence!) Hotline dial 26 for Waikiki Waves.
Kodiac Lass by Kodiac – Kodiac Lass is showing plenty of speed on the gallops at home and looks every bit the racehorse now. She appears to have ability and will shortly be ready for entries. Hotline press 27 for Kodiac.Lass
