Velvet Revolution by Pivotal – Velvet Revolution scored his third win at Kempton Park last Wednesday under a perfectly timed ride from Martin Harley. The pair travelled towards the rear before creeping their way into contention in the home straight. Velvet Revolution passed through the field so easily and picked up gamely to go on and win cosily. He was raised to a mark of 86 and looks likely to return to Kempton on 5th September. Owners could be in for a fun winter with this horse! Owner hotline press 11 for Velvet Revolution by Pivotal.
Dragons Voice by Poet’s Voice – After winning well at Windsor last time out, it was a shame to see Dragons Voice finish down the field at Newbury on 18th August. There were a few possible excuses as to why but Philip Hide believes the jockey losing his whip during the crucial point of the race was the obvious one. It was very frustrating but hopefully he can return to form at Sandown Park on Saturday. Hotline press 12 for Dragons Voice.
Spring Praise by Oasis Dream – Spring Praise is coming together quickly at home and has been pleasing his trainer Marco Botti with his fast pieces of work upsides. He feels the colt is on the path to make his racecourse debut in mid September so exciting times ahead for this partnership. Owner hotline dial 13 for Spring Praise.
Good Luck Charm by Doyen – This horse is fast becoming a Brighton specialist as a return to this track on 11th August saw Good Luck Charm score his sixth win of his career (his fourth at Brighton!) The horse relished the quick ground, and tried so very hard in the closing stages to get his nose in front of a thrilling 5 horse finish! Raised just a pound for the win the 8yo didn’t disgrace himself at Goodwood last Friday (despite the race not playing into his strengths) and Gary feels a return to Brighton next time is in order. Owner hotline press 14 for Good Luck Charm.
Onehelluvatouch by Hellvelyn – Onehelluvatouch gave an encouraging hurdling debut at Fontwell Park on 17th August. The 4yo seemed to really enjoy the hurdles and had she not made a tired error at the last then she definitely would have finished in the frame. Trainer Philip Hide is keen to win with her next time and she’ll be aimed for a mares hurdle race at Worcester on 12th September next. Hotline dial 15 for Onehelluvatouch.
Master Poet by Poet's Voice – Master Poet continues to impress Robert Cowell with his work and phenomenal attitude at home. The colt is on track for a racecourse debut in September and we are really looking forward to racing him. Hotline dial 16 for Master Poet
Raven's Lady by Raven’s Pass – After two classy wins at Newmarket, Raven’s Lady lined up in a Listed Fillies contest at Pontefract on 20th August. Despite looking a little uncomfortable on the track at times, our tough filly dug deep and finished a dead heat third (beaten less than a length by the winner) scoring some Black Type! She raced at Chelmsford yesterday and finished in the prize money once again despite not enjoying the deeper surface. Trainer Marco Botti believes there is more to come from Raven’s Lady as a 4yo and she will now enjoy a break before aiming for some valuable races in early 2018. Owner hotline dial 17 for Raven’s Lady.
Royal Battalion by Sea The Stars – Royal Battalion lined up at Fontwell Park last Thursday in the race he had won the last two years. However despite going into his race extremely well, an unfortunate mistake at the 3rd hurdle saw the horse fall. Thankfully he is absolutely fine and all being well he will return to Fontwell for their Family Fun Day meeting on 10th September. Owner hotline press 18 for Royal Battalion.
Zante by Zanzibari – As with all of the National Hunt horses at Cisswood Stables, Zante has resumed cantering on the gallops and seems very pleased to be going a shade faster. He looks great, is fresh and well and we really can’t wait to embark on his 2017/18 season later on this month. Hotline press 19 for Zante.
Zambeasy by Zamindar – Zambeasy’s owners enjoyed being a part of the King George meeting at Ascot in July and although the horse got a little overwhelmed by the big day and didn't seem to enjoy the very soft ground, he by no means disgraced himself to finish 7th. His next target will be this Saturday at Sandown Park, a track he has good form at. Owner hotline press 20 for Zambeasy.
Sir Robert Cheval by Green Desert – Sir Robert Cheval gave his best performance to date in the Shergar Cup Dash on 12th August and looked like he was heading for his second win of the season. However he was incredibly unlucky to get narrowly denied by Jamie Spencer’s mount on the line! Despite having to settle for second it was an outstanding performance from the horse and trainer Robert Cowell and we are so pleased that his owners are continuing with this horse for another season. Now rated 103, Sir Robert Cheval is likely to go for a Listed race at Ascot on 7th October next. Owner hotline press 21 for Sir Robert Cheval.
Sisania by Mastercraftsman – Sisania has been cantering away at Gary Moore’s yard and from early September she will be ready for fast work. She is likely to return to action in late September/early October and on softer ground we are hopeful of a good start to the season. Hotline press 22 for Sisania.
Cilaos Glace by Voix Du Nord – Cilaos Glace has made excellent progress with his light ridden exercises and after the green light from the vet, he has now resumed cantering. He appears to be over his immaturity issues now, but he is still a big 4-year old and Gary stresses he will take his time with him. Hopefully a late 2017/early 2018 bumper debut is likely. Hotline press 24 for Cilaos Glace.
Capsis Desbois by Apsis – Capsis Desbois is happily cantering away at Gary Moore’s yard and we are pleased to see that he is maintaining his condition. From early September he will be ready for fast work with a view of racing him in late September/early October. Owner Hotline press 26 for Capsis Desbois.
