About Twiggy
This beautiful chestnut filly we have known from the very day she was born as she is the result of our latest breeding syndicate put together in 2022. She is by popular French Sire Planteur and out of our mare Ruby Yeats who we enjoyed so many great days at the races with (including 5 wins!)
Nicknamed Twiggy as a foal by her syndicate Owners, this filly lives up to the reputation with a workmanlike and spicy attitude towards life thus far. She has enjoyed most of her life out in the paddocks growing and developing and recently moved to a yard in Kent to undertake a period of pre-training. She could arrive with Gary & Josh Moore in the New Year as she is bred for both flat and National Hunt racing.

By Group 3 and Listed winner Planteur who is the sire of Group 1 winning stayer Trueshan. He’s produced plenty of winners both on the flat and over hurdles ad we are excited to have one of his offspring. The Dam, Ruby Yeats, is someone we know very well having enjoyed a few years of racing with her. She is a fine stamp of a NH horse who loved the mud and won 4 times over hurdles in our silks. Twiggy is her first foal and has been very correct conformation wise from the off.

This is a 20-Owner syndicate and all shares are sold. Owners have literally been involved in this syndicate from day 1 (maybe even before that as the syndicate was put together even before the filly was conceived.) What an incredible journey and learning experience.
