“When are you getting a new 2-year old with Gary & Josh Moore?” is a question we regularly get asked! Therefore, we were delighted to secure an exceedingly well bred and exciting filly by Sea The Stars at the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sales this summer.
Given the filly’s pedigree and athleticism, it was unsurprising that she was popular. However, she was so popular that all 20 shares sold out within just 10 days!
The un-named filly continued to show her class when galloping at home, and as she works towards a September/October racecourse debut her Owners recently visited to decide on her racing name.
Each Owner suggested a name for the horse before they then voted for one (other than their own) and the name with the most amount of votes was the winner. With a popular 5 votes, Sea A Lucky Star was the winner – we cannot wait to shout this name home on a racecourse!
We will be looking to purchase another horse at the Tattersalls Yearling Sales this October and a National Hunt horse is incoming so watch this space!
