Huge congratulations to Owners of BRIDGE as he makes it another C&D win at Fontwell Park!
We were pleased to see the rain falling shortly before his race at this type of weather with soft/sloppy ground with the right amount of mud seems to be BRIDGE’s preference! He travelled beautifully under a great ride from Caoilin Quinn and jumped well throughout. As they started to quicken 3f from home BRIDGE was hot on the leaders heels and his spectacular jump over the 2nd last sealed his win as he then kicked clear, staying on up the hill to win at the track for the second time!
Caoilin was delighted with the horse and said “I think he could jump a fence in the future!”
It was a brilliant training performance from Team Moore to get BRIDGE back to winning ways following a setback last season. A huge shoutout to his work rider George who does all the work at home with BRIDGE, and groom Jude who looks after him daily.
The biggest takeaway from this win is that BRIDGE has come out of the race very well and if the weather allows he will enjoy a final run of the season before having a summers break.
Well done BRIDGE – and well done to his lovely Owners who have been incredibly patient and deserved to have that patience rewarded!
