About The Paddock To Post Syndicate

We are thrilled to introduce you to the latest ownership opportunity with Heart of the South Racing! From May 2026, The Paddock To Post syndicate will be managed by ourselves and involves TWO exciting National Hunt bred unraced 3-year olds both to be trained by Harry Derham.

This opportunity came to us as at the end of the current NH season, trainer Suzy Smith (who bred both theses horses and set-up P2P syndicate) sadly retires. Suzy approached us to manage the syndicate moving forward as she wanted to ensure both horses and all existing owners were in safe hands, and we are truly over the moon to add this duo to our string!

The first is a 3yo gelding named Master Minder by Irish Derby winner & popular NH sire Jack Hobbs and out of 2-time NH winner Strike The Flint . A lovely big scopey horse who will need a little time, he looks a proper chaser in the making. The next horse is a racy and very correct 3yo filly by Group 2 winner Masterstroke out of Black Type mare Aimigayle., who looks set be a fun juvenile hurdler!

They are both very well put together individuals who have been given plenty of time and have incredible temperaments. They move to Harry’s pre-training yard in May to commence the next stage before moving to Harry’s yard later this summer to embark on their National Hunt careers. We can’t wait to see what the future holds with both these prospects!

Two 5% shares for sale at £3000 – for the pair
Fully inclusive training fees at £290 per month

Join our visit to meet them on Saturday 30th May!
