The big news last week was the wonderful Grade 3 3rd from TAPLEY at Ascot on Saturday! Running only 12-days after his superb win at Plumpton and stepping up in trip to 3miles, it was a big ask for the 9yo, but he jumped and travelled a dream and tried his very best. He didn’t quite stay the extended trip but on a speed track or over 2mile 6f a big win appears just around the corner. What a wonderful experience for owners!
Our other syndicate runners FEMME FATALE, KOTARI & STORM FREE all ran respectably but with excuses (mainly trouble in running or being left with too much to do.)
With the flat season now coming to a close, it’s full steam ahead with the NH horses. Most do need a little cut in the ground (apart from Tapley!) and with rain forecast for next week we could be busy. Entres include: LAURIER DES OBEAUX at Sandown 8/11 or Lingfield 10/11, LE GALLI BIER at Lingield 10/11 or Windsor 14/11 and BRIDGE at Huntingdon 10/11 or Fontwell Park 15/11.
Looking at the next generation, our new yearling by MODERN GAMES continues to progress brilliantly and he has already been backed and ridden. The colt is a beautiful mover, a quick learner and there is so much to like about him! Limited shares for sale – come and see him on 11th November!
