In a bid to unlock ALPHA LEGEND’s potential (which we see at home but not on the track so far) he drops back down to 5-furlongs at Wolverhampton today in the 5.07pm Nursery Handicap. With a widish draw to overcome, the plan is to make use of his early gate speed and go forward. The super experienced Rob Havlin is on board and the right man to follow these instructions.
On Tuesday we head to Fontwell Park with TAPLEY and the Plumpton Party Syndicate (pictured above) who will be enjoying his first run of the season and first run for Gary & Josh Moore, and jockey Caoilin Quinn. TAPLEY is very well at home and has been working nicely, but whatever the result he is sure to come on for in terms of fitness.
In the bid to find some softish ground, both STORM FREE and KOTARI hold entries at Haydock Park this Friday, over 7-furlongs and 1m6-furlongs respectively. Both seem likely to run at the time of writing as most tracks (apart from Haydock) have drying out ground.
