15th April 2024, Jockey Rob Hornby
A huge congratulations to Owners of Kotari as he gets his nose in front for the first time at Windsor on 15th April!
Kotari looked a picture going into the race and jockey Rob Hornby was instructed to take his time on the horse without being too far back. The pair did just that, attaching themselves to the heels of the leading group, and Kotari settled and travelled probably the best we have seen from him thus far! Things got a little messy in the closing stages with Kotari having to switch right across to the inside rail but once he gathered himself together and got a clear run he hit the line very strongly.
We were all delighted with the horse who evidently enjoyed the better ground under his hooves and a switch to the flat. He has come out of the race very well and trainer Gary Moore feels he is capable of winning again!
