What a year it has been for this gutsy little racehorse! Fruity O’Rooney contested in the £75,000 SkyBet Chase race at Doncaster where he finished third against some fantastic horses.
Fruity led throughout the majority of his race only to have his saddle slip over the final few fences! Jockey Jamie Moore showed what a true horseman he is to finish riding the horse bareback. Luckily the weights remained in tack and Fruity O’Rooney stayed on well to secure another spot in the winner enclosure for his owners.
Jamie was devastated after the race as he felt we could have won but we were absolutely delighted to see the horse put in yet another superb performance amongst some decent horses.
