24th November 2022, Jockey Jamie Moore
Congratulations to everyone involved with Walk In The Wild as he scores his second consecutive win over fences!
Clearly the horse loves Lingfield Park and it was like deja vu to 16 days ago as he went down to post and the heavens opened! We did have slight concerns over the short turnaround in between races and the drop in trip to 2m however Walk In The Wild relished it! He raced prominently under a fantastic ride from Jamie, once again jumping his fences beautifully and when given a squeeze turning for home it was great to see him pick up lovely and pull clear of the field. Three lovely jumps over the fences up the home straight and Walk In The Wild went onto be a comfortable 2 1/2 length winner!
Jamie and Gary were both delighted with the horse with Jamie commenting on how much the horse has matured. Evidently fences and softer ground are what he loves and the horse looked extremely proud of himself post race as he was smothered in affection by his owners and groom Lisa.
Gary would not like to give Walk In The Wild a decent break before racing him again. There are a few options back at Lingfield Park around Christmas time but we will await the handicappers assessment before deciding on where we target next.
Congratulations to everyone once again and a massive thank you to trainer Gary Moore! It is great to see Walk In The Wild finally show his potential.
