9th March 2020, Jockey Joshua Moore
Ruby Yeats makes it back-to-back wins over hurdles as she pulls clear under yet another fantastic ride from Joshua Moore at Plumpton. Congratulations to her connections!
The 9yo mare certainly looked up for it in the paddock and was alert down at the start. Josh jumped off tracking the leaders and Ruby Yeats travelled sweetly underneath him. Her jumping was faultless and she easily made her way to the front when coming down the back straight for the final time. Two neat leaps in the home straight saw the horse lengthen the gap between her and the rest of the field and she stayed on up the hill to finish 6 lengths clear!
Josh Moore said “her confidence is sky high at the moment and she has won well today. I did think I had taken it up sooner than ideal but in fairness to the horse she stuck to the task and finished her race the best I have known her to.”
Trainer Gary Moore was equally pleased that all came together and we were able to take advantage of Ruby Yeats’ good form and see her with her nose in front again.
