There was a party at Plumpton as The Plumpton Party win again with TAPLEY!!
You could see from the off how much this lad was up for it with his ears pricked – which stayed pricked throughout! TAPLEY jumped beautifully, travelled strongly and matched the bravery of his riding by shutting off the inside rail on 3 occasions. He is a horse that shows HUGE heart and goes down in the history books as the last NH winner officially trained by Gary Moore!
Jockey Caoilin Quinn rode an exceptional race and these two are a pair well matched! He felt this was an improvement from Fontwell Park and hopefully there is more fun to come from TAPLEY this season.
A huge thank you to the team at home as TAPLEY makes it 2 from 2 for his new yard! A special mention to regular rider Aaron and groom Suzy who do a lot with this lovely horse daily and utterly adore him!
