Fruity O’Rooney wins his first time over fences

Congratulations to all owners as Fruity O’Rooney wins his first time over fences! It was the perfect introduction to chasing, he jumped beautifully and showed his usual enthusiasm.

For a small horse Fruity O’Rooney has so much power and he cleared the fences with such ease. He was also very clever, you could see him lining up a stride well in advance of the fence and putting in short and long strides where necessary to get himself out of trouble.

His trainer Gary Moore, jockey Jamie Moore and Philip Hide (who has done a lot of the homework with Fruity) were all absolutely delighted with him.
