This was Fruity O’Rooney’s third win of the 2011 season and in fact his third win at Fontwell Park.
After a second place at Chepstow Racecourse on his previous start we had considered giving this horse a summer holiday. However, his trainer Gary Moore could not believe how well Fruity O’Rooney was at home and was confident the horse could win another race for his owners before the season was out.
How right Gary was as Fruity O’Rooney did what he does best, leading all the way and crossing the winning post with two lengths to spare.
When watching the video keep an eye on Jamie Moore’s tactics. It was a super ride especially between the last 2 fences. Congratulations to all owners!
