14th September 2015, Jockey George Baker
Congratulations to all owners on a fantastic win from our loveable Good Luck Charm, his fourth career win! Today everything fell right for this horse and he made winning look very easy when cruising home to win by an impressive 7 lengths, without George Baker using the whip once.
Full credit has to go to jockey George Baker for giving this horse a brilliantly timed ride. He gave Good Luck Charm plenty of shelter from the wind, saved valuable energy before coming wide around the bend and coming down the centre of the course in the closing stages. Once again Good Luck Charm travelled beautifully and he just loved passing through horses!
Trainer Gary Moore was also delighted with the performance saying “it has all played into Good Luck Charm’s hands today. He has got the perfect ground conditions, a jockey who knows him very well in the saddle, a fast early pace and the tongue tie has certainly made all the difference today too. I’m very pleased.”
Good Luck Charm has come out of his race in good form and Gary is considering running him again quickly before we receive our new handicap rating. George Baker is confident this horse can win again before the season is out and we can’t wait to see his next run already!
Congratulations to you all once again, and to Gary who had a double on the day.
