What a great start to Jupiter Storm’s 2013 season, with a win at Chepstow! It was a very good performance and a great, quick thinking ride from jockey George Baker.
Going into the race George planned to tuck Jupiter Storm in behind the leaders but the horse wanted to go on from the start and so he took up the lead. Jupiter Storm has always had a beautiful gallop on him and it really helped with his front running performance at Chepstow.
The horse led for the entire race and was never headed, despite the rest of the field closing near the line. Jupiter Storm held on bravely to win by the smallest of margins and it was great to see him back on the track.
