A huge congratulations to Owners of King Of Ithaca as it finally all comes together for the horse again and he wins for the 2nd time – first time for new trainer James Tate!
We really do not like moving horses but sometimes a change in scenery and routine can work wonders for horses and that’s exactly what it has done for King Of Ithaca since he arrived with James in August. The horse’s form for his new yard now reads 3-2-1 and we couldn’t be happier for the horse, his team and his very loyal and patient Owners.
Whilst the horse was a little slow away on this occasion, jockey Rossa Ryan did not panic and instead rode the horse patiently as he travelled strongly throughout. When the gap presented itself in the closing stages it was great to see King Of Ithaca power through under encouragement from Rossa and go onto win for the second time of his career.
We are over the moon for the young horse and his Owners who have been very patient! Hopefully this is the first of many wins for our new partnership with James Tate and for King Of Ithaca too!
