Kodiac Lass wins her first race at 40/1!

Congratulations to the Owners of Kodiac Lass as she lands her first win at Wolverhampton at a price of 40/1! It was a complete surprise to see this daughter of Kodiac win on the second time of asking, beating some nice horses.

The filly was on her toes during the preliminaries of her race, but she was ever the professional once down at the post. She loaded into the gates well, was quickly away and soon settled into a nice rhythm. Jockey Gabriele Malune gave Kodiac Lass a brilliantly timed ride; settling her behind the leaders, encouraging her throughout the race, taking her between horses in the closing stages and riding the thrilling finish out well. Congratulations to this pair!

Gabriele has done a lot of work with Kodiac Lass at home and said “She really enjoyed passing horses, and showed a great attitude. She is still a little green but has won her race in a professional manner today.”

Trainer Marco Botti believes Kodiac Lass will progress over further and we are thankful to him and his Bloodstock agent Jamie Lloyd for purchasing us another filly who looks to have a bright future!
