We are very excited to introduce you to our newest NH addition with trainer Harry Derham – Wertpol! Purchased at the recent Tattersalls Horses In Training Sales by Megan Nicholls, this genuine and hardy 3-year old got his hurdling campaign off to the best start when winning in impressive fashion at Taunton on 30th December 2025!
Wertpol really has been thriving since joining Harry’s yard and it was a joy to see him relish the ground and achieve his first win over jumps. He was a little novicey at times but really powered home well and there looks to be plenty more to come from him!

Wertpol is by Group 2 Celebration Mile winner Kodi Bear who was a top miler in his day. He’s gone onto produce some exciting types during the short time he’s been in stud including dual Listed winner Measure of Magic, frequent Black Type winner and performer Room Service, 3-time winner hurdle Portarlington, and hurdle winning youngsters Alaskan View and Killeaney Bear. The Dam Exoptable was lightly raced herself and has produced 2 foals of racing age – Wertpol and Highly Desirable who was placed in a Listed race in Ireland.

You will also be involved in giving this horse his racing name. Prices are inclusive of all fees and costs, there is nothing extra to pay during the agreement. Statements detailing the syndicates finances are sent every quarter and all VAT is reclaimed on behalf of the owners.
