Meet Our Trainers
Expert trainers dedicated to developing our horses’ potential
We have carefully selected our racehorse trainers not only for their training ability but also for the first class care, passion and dedication they give to our horses. Each of our trainers treat the horses as an individual, meeting their required needs to reach their full potential.
It is also very important to us that our Owners can visit their horses whenever they wish (in fact we encourage regular visits to deepen your ownership experience) and each of our trainers offer a genuine open access policy to their yards – give us a call to arrange a visit!

James Tate
Newmarket-based trainer James Tate has a wealth of experience with racehorses, and he is also a qualified vet which is a massive plus! Saddling over 500 winners, James has enjoyed Group success at some of the top meetings and has a brilliant track record with his youngsters. He is a trainer we really enjoy working with as he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to his horses training and race planning.

Harry Derham
After spending 6 invaluable years as assistant to Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls, Harry took his trainers license out in 2022 where his first runner from his Lambourn based yard was a winner! He is quickly establishing himself as an upcoming National Hunt trainer and has already trained Black Type winners Queens Gamble and Brentford Hope. It is a fun ownership experience with Harry!

Gary & Josh Moore
Moore is a very well-known and well-respected family name in the British racing community. Gary is a true horseman and his experience with horses is second to none. He trains over 100 flat and National Hunt horses at his impressive 180-acre West Sussex based yard and as of 2024 does so alongside his youngest son and ex-National Hunt jockey Josh Moore, who adds a modern element to their training approach.
