Twiggy by Planteur - Twiggy is now officially 2 years old (already!) and continues to develop brilliantly. This March she will move to a yard in Kent to commence some pre-training which we are certain she will really enjoy.
King Of Ithaca by Ulysses – King Of Ithaca continues to tally up a run of good form and he was really unlucky not to have won last time out at Kempton! His next target will be a £22,000 race at Southwell on 22/02.
Alpha Crucis by Australia – Alpha Crucis is now back in full training following a short winters break and looks magnificent. He is undertaking a period of conditioning work before stepping up a gear in March. His first big target of the season will be another crack at the Lincoln Handicap – we pray for a wet March!
Spirit D’Aunou by Triple Threat – Spirit D’Aunou ran another creditable race at Sandown Park on 24/01 to finish 3rd despite racing too free early on in desperate ground. The team are currently mulling over where we head next with the horse before he potentially targets the Martin Pipe Handicap at the Cheltenham Festival!
Court In The Act by Court Cave – It was great to see Court In The Act back in action at Windsor on 17/01 and to be a part of their Winter Millions fixture was exciting! The horse jumped the majority of his hurdles very well but perhaps went a fraction too fast in the testing ground in the early stages and blew up fitness wise. He will target better ground next time – potentially at either Wetherby 12/02 or Taunton 18/02.
Kotari by Nathaniel – Kotari has thoroughly enjoyed his well deserved winters break and is now back in full training. He will enjoy a period of light ridden work before stepping up a gear. We cannot wait to see what Kotari has in store in 2025!
Pyrotechnic by Nathaniel – Pyrotechnic has had a decent gap in between his races and been working nicely on the gallops at home. His next target looks to be Huntingdon on 06/02 where we hope to see him settle and finish his race off like we’ve seen previously.
Bridge by Golden Horn – Bridge continues to recuperate well following a setback. He is now out in the field with some other horses for company and is very much the boss of his herd! He will recommence light ridden work from June.
Storm Free by Iffraaj – After a really encouraging 2024 season Storm Free has enjoyed a break to mature over the winter. He looks magnificent and has really strengthened up. He’s now back in conditioning work as he prepares to commence his 3yo campaign in late March/early April. He could be one to watch in 2025!
Lover Desbois by Beaumec De Houelle – Lover Desbois has reached the end of his pre-training and now moved to Harry Derham’s yard for full training. He’s settled into the routine very well and Harry is really pleased with the horse. He feels he has a real quality in his paces and a brilliant attitude towards his work. We will let him settle in before looking forward to visiting with Owners.
Laurier Des Obeaux by Bathyrhon – Laurier Des Obeaux is our other NH store horse who has now arrived for full training and he’ll be trained by Gary & Josh Moore. He has settled into his new yard brilliantly and eats for England which Gary loves! He’s cantering steadily away up the gallops as the team learn more about him and we hope to see him make his debut in a bumper this spring.
Un-named by Sea The Moon – Our 2yo filly with James Tate is really starting to come together at home and she’s really benefited from a quieter time over Christmas to grow and strengthen. She is looking much more like a racehorse now as she canters along the Newmarket gallops. Next week she will move to James’ main yard for full training and then start to be put into pairs to canter upsides with the pace gradually increasing! She is an extremely likeable filly. A few 10% shares remain for sale!
Le Galli Bier by Clovis Du Berlais – Our newest addition is this handsome 4yo in training with Gary & Josh Moore. He is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Le Patron and has a decent race record over jumps in France. Le Galli Bier is currently preparing for his UK hurdles debut and we look forward to learning more about the plans when Owners visit on Tuesday 4th February.
