Twiggy by Planteur -Twiggy continues to make encouraging progress with her pre-training in a yard in Kent. She is now backed and cantering around the gallop and will soon enjoy a short break before picking things back up. We are really encouraged by her early progress.
Alpha Crucis by Australia – Alpha Crucis is desperately waiting for some rain to fall! We are sincerely hoping it will coincide with Epsom on 6th June where he holds an entry and he’s ready to go. He also holds a tentative early closing entry in the Royal Hunt cup at Royal Ascot – it will need to be a very wet Ascot for him!
Court In The Act by Court Cave – Court In The Act is very much enjoying his summers break and looks exceptionally well for it. He will return to ridden exercise some time in July and be prepared to go Novice Chasing in the autumn!
Kotari by Nathaniel – The ground has been much too firm for 3-time flat winner Kotari so he turned his hooves to the AW at Kempton on Wednesday. Unfortunately, he really didn’t enjoy the surface and failed to finish his race off strongly like we would normally see from him. There are some interesting options for him over a further distance at Goodwood in June and a drop of rain would be very welcome.
Bridge by Golden Horn – Bridge looks super on his summer break and has certainly grown physically! He is set to soon return to Cisswood Stables to commence on the walker before starting ridden work. We can’t wait to have him back!
Storm Free by Iffraaj – Storm Free is another of our flat string hoping for a bit of rain. He’s in excellent order at home following his first career success at Nottingham last month and his next targets include Windsor 16/6, Newmarket 21/6 or York 28/6.
Lover Desbois by Beaumec De Houelle – Lover Desbois has really switched off and is enjoying a break which will do nothing but wonders for him both mentally and physically. We are really looking forward to next season with him and are pleased he’s been given the time needed to mature.
Laurier Des Obeaux by Bathyrhon – Laurier Des Obeaux is another NH horse who looks fabulous for a break. He is out in the paddock day & night with another NH store horse for company and is sure to return a stronger horse. After an encouraging run in a bumper in April we are looking forward to seeing him over hurdles this winter.
Femme Fatale by Sea The Moon – 2yo Femme Fatale is making fantastic progress with her training with James Tate. She’s now back in fast work upsides following a break and is gearing up for a July racecourse debut. We are looking forward to visiting her on 11th June with Owners to learn about her race plans – exciting times ahead!
Le Galli Bier by Clovis Du Berlais – Le Galli Bier has really grown and put on some much-needed condition during his summers holiday. He is out night and day with a herd of horses and it’s lovely to see him nice and relaxed. He will recommence ridden work from 1st July and slowly prep for the winter ahead.
