Walk In The Wild is an imposing National Hunt horse who was purchased from the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale in conjunction with Anthony Bromley. He is in training with Gary Moore and it was great to see him win on his debut for the yard, first time out over fences, followed by another success in November!
A fascinating trip to the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale in 2019 saw us secure this magnificent horse who certainly ticked a lot of boxes. He required a little time to mature and made his debut in a bumper in October 2020 where he finished 4th in testing ground conditions before finishing 3rd in a competitive race at Doncaster over hurdles during his 2020-21 season when in training with Oliver Sherwood.
Walk In The Wild moved to Gary Moore’s yard in the spring of 2022 after his Owners felt a change of scenery and a new approach may ignite the horse’s enthusiasm. He made his debut for the yard and first time out over fences on 8th November at Lingfield Park and his jumping was very impressive for a novice. He relished the softer ground conditions and went onto secure his first victory quite cosily.
Just 16 days later the horse returned to Lingfield Park and we did have slight concerns with him dropping back in trip. However ridden accordingly the horse once again jumped beautifully under Jamie Moore, loving the heavy ground and going onto win smartly.
Walk In The Wild has since achieved some placed efforts and hopefully it is only a matter of time before his nose is in front again!

Walk In the Park by Montjeu
The Michael Tabour owned Walk In The Park was a high-class winning racehorse, and just narrowly missed out on winning the Derby to Motivator. He is an established National Hunt sire and has produced the likes of the mighty Douvan (multiple Grade 1 and Cheltenham Festival winner), Min (4 time Grade 1 winner) and Walk In the Mill (winner of 2018 and 2019’s Beecher Chase and Grand National 4th) to name but a few.
Sublimissime by Green Tune
Let’s be honest, every Sire is a phenomenal racehorse (otherwise they wouldn’t be stallions!) That’s why we always strive to buy horses with plenty of Black Type on the Dam’s side. The late Sir Henry Cecil once told us “success is 75% from the Dam” and it’s something we’ve stuck by ever since.
The pedigree on the Dam’s side is strong. Sublimissive herself is a winner over jumps, placed 8 times and has already produced a consistent NH winning type which bodes well. Walk In The Park is by far the best stallion she has gone to.
The second Dam Helvetica was also a winner and hardy sort, who has produced numerous NH winners. These include Black Type performer Lugano (a winner of 13 races, 5 over NH and £200,000 in prize money,) 8 time winner End of Story and Black Type winner Haskilclara (a full sister to Sublimissive) who herself has produced NH winners (including UK trained Admiral Beauty who was second at Newbury to Lost In Translation.)
Grandsire Green Tune was a top-class miler and leading Sire in France with plenty of NH success in his own right.
Syndicate details
We have decided to keep this a 10-owner syndicate, allowing like minded owners maximum involvement with their horse and trainer but still sharing the costs. There are two complimentary Owners & Trainers Badges every time the horse runs and Oliver operates a open-access policy at his yard, meaning you can visit your horse whenever you wish. Owners will also be involved in giving this horse a racing name.
