Runners for week commencing 11/05/2026

Tapley

Finally we have some proper rain in the forecast which makes us very happy! We are hopeful KOTARI will be our next runner (should the forecast be correct!) as he heads to Salisbury on Thursday over 1m4f. A lot of work has been put into KOTARI at home to get him sweet again and he goes into this race in great order. David Egan rides.

ALPHA CRUCIS does hold an entry for Newbury on Friday, but this part of the world appears to have missed a majority of the rain and they are only predicting good ground come the fixture which would still be too quick for ALF unfortunately. There are alternative options for him at Sandown 28/5 or Oaks Day at Epsom 5/6.

After his encouraging racecourse debut, 2yo ALPHA LEGEND looks set to return to action on Saturday at Doncaster once again over 5f. The flatter track is expected to suit but genuine good ground would be preferred.

Our final runner this week could be newly acquired TAPLEY (pictured above) who holds an entry at Stratford on Sunday. A good ground chaser who has already won this season over fences, this will likely be his final run of the season before he enjoys a well deserved holiday.
