We enjoyed a brilliant Friday with our 3 runners who all ran well without winning! ALPHA CRUCIS once again ran his race full of encouragement as he finished 5th in a Class 2 at Epsom despite tiring a little in the last 50 yards. Stablemate KOTARI was an absolute pleasure to watch at Bath as he really got himself involved, tried hard and was only beaten a length! This race suggested KOTARI is still enjoying his job and he is likely to have another start. CANOPUS finally showed on the track what we see at home as under a great ride from Jude Fernandes the horse rallied on to finish an impossibly close 2nd at Goodwood. What a day with these boys!
We also had a brilliant first stable visit to James Tate’s on Saturday to see 2yo ENEMY LINES. There is certainly plenty to like about this horse and he is on track for his next target race at Windsor on 15/6. We were delighted that all Owners in attendance on Saturday decided to proceed with a 10% share in the horse which means he looks likely to have a full house of new Owners to support him during his second start!
Looking to this week stable mates STORM FREE and FEMME FATALE both have entries on Thursday. STORMY looks very likely to reunite with James Doyle at Newbury whilst FEMME FATALE will step up in trip at either Nottingham or Yarmouth.
