Another impressive performance as Zambeasy wins at Bath scoring his second victory!
Jockey George Baker gave the horse a great ride and the pair led for the entire trip, not once getting headed. It was a step up in trip this time to 1 mile 2 furlongs and it appeared to suit Zambeasy perfectly. He really can gallop all day long and he crossed the line 2 lengths clear of the rest of the field! After the race George encouragingly said that had something got close to Zambeasy during the race, then he could have found more.
Trainer Philip Hide has always believed in Zambeasy’s ability and feels he is capable of being a decent 80-rated horse – we have lots to look forward to with this horse! Congratulations to all connections on Zambeasy’s win! Thank you to Philip for giving the horse time to ensure he was 100% right and to George Baker for giving another one of our horses a superb ride.
