A winning HOTSR debut for Enemy Lines

Massive congratulations to Owners of ENEMY LINES who on his first start in the HOTSR silks made it a winning one at Windsor!

ENEMY LINES already had racecourse experience with a 2nd on debut at Doncaster in May, and after we purchased him a few weeks after we learnt that he’d be in good order at home undertaking his maintenance work of swimming and cantering.

The 2yo colt headed into his race very well, and was super relaxed during the preliminaries. Despite not breaking well from the gates, ENEMY LINES soon found himself in a lovely rhythm in a prominent position. He travelled sweetly under a great ride from Hector Crouch before hitting the front with 2 furlongs to go. The young horse still showed signs of greenness and idled a little in front, but despite this it was evident he was the best horse in the race and he got the job done well. Well done ENEMY!

Trainer James Tate was delighted with the performance and feels on softer ground this big lad can hopefully continue to improve. He looked a real professional and absolutely adored all of the attention from his Owners post win!

The most important factor is ENEMY LINES has come out of his race very well, and we are already looking forward to his next start!
