About Storm Free
This handsome colt was purchased at the Tattersalls Book 2 Yearling Sales by Newmarket based trainer James Tate. He took a little time to come together before the penny dropped at the back end of his 2yo campaign with two creditable and fast finishing seconds – it gave owners plenty to get excited about for his 3yo season!
After a winters break which really saw him strengthen, this son of Iffraaj made it a winning 3yo debut in impressive fashion this spring and his Owners can expect more to come from Storm Free this season. He is one to follow off his current rating of 83.

Storm Free is by 7-time winner and multiple Group contender Iffraaj who is an older, well known, proven Stallion. He has sired elite-level performers including Ribchester, Wootton Bassett, and My Prospero. The Dam was a winner over 6f and is a full sister to Group 1 Nunthorpe heroine La Cucaracha. All four of her foals to date are winners with 13 wins and 19 placings between them. It’s great that Storm Free has now added to this impressive tally!
