Our current racehorse shares for sale
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a part of the racing action, then you’re in the right place!
At Heart of the South Racing you experience all the excitement and magic of being part of a shared-ownership syndicate, at a cost that works for you. You don’t need to be a millionaire to be part of a horse’s amazing journey and the buzz of racing, all it needs is your passion and enthusiasm for the sport.
We purchase both flat and National Hunt horses and form syndicates with either 10 or 20 Owners, keeping it small and personal. Read more below to learn about our current share for sale and how to become involved.

New Horses
Our recent purchase from the Tattersalls Ireland Breeze-ups sale, a 2-year old filly by Sea The Stars, has now been fully sold. This 20-owner syndicate was extremely popular and sold out within just 10-days!
We plan to visit the Tattersalls Yearling Sales in October to secure another flat prospect or two, and another NH candidate will also soon be incoming!
Shares in our syndicates do tend to sell fast, so please register your interest to stay ahead of the field.

Know where you stand
When you choose to become an owner with us, you can expect complete transparency when it comes to the financial side – with no hidden fees or costs – everything is covered in your monthly payment. You will receive quarterly statements, and as each syndicate has its own bank account, you’ll know your winnings are being paid correctly and fairly. Should your horse accumulate large sums of prize money mid-agreement, this will be paid out early before your annual end of agreement surplus return.
Beyond the finances, our horses run predominately in the South of England so to maximise your days at the races. Our emphasis is on winning and having fun and if we have a good horse we like to keep them rather than cash out early. All of our syndicates are certified by the BHA and adhere to their code of conduct, to ensure best practice for everyone.
If you want to experience straightforward, yet thrilling racehorse ownership, we are here to make it happen!
Owner Events
We love hosting regular events exclusively for our owners! These could be summer BBQs, raceday hospitality, personalised stud visits and tours of the Tattersalls Yearling Sales, to name a few. Our Owners find events like these a great way to mix with like-minded people, and whether it’s a social gathering organised by us or trips abroad, you’ll get the opportunity to feel part of it all.
Plus, if at any time you wish to catch up with the trainers or spend a morning on the gallops with your horse, you need only ask. Family and friends are also welcome to join and experience an insight into the world of racing.
