About Storm Free

This handsome 4yo was purchased at the Tattersalls Book 2 Yearling Sales by Newmarket based trainer James Tate. He took a little time to come together before the penny dropped at the back end of his 2yo campaign with two creditable and fast finishing seconds – it gave owners plenty to get excited about for this season!

After a winters break which really saw him strengthen, Storm Free made it a winning 3yo debut in impressive fashion this spring, before a few placed efforts and another win at Leicester in October – what a season! The fun didn’t stop during his 4yo season as he has ran some creditable races off his highest career mark before achieving back-to-back wins at Southwell in July and at Sandown Park in the softer ground (a career best run!) in August 2026. He could target some fun races this autumn.
